There are two things that influence the quality of products that are manufactured. The skill and expertise of workers and equipment performance. Both of these are affected by temperature. A workplace that is too hot or cold makes it uncomfortable for workers and make them lose their focus.

Abnormal temperature of equipment is common sign of problem which can affect its performance. In short, workplace temperature has significant influence on the quality of manufactured products. A ventilation and air conditioning system is necessary to control the temperature and moisture within the workplace. These systems are coupled with temperature gauges and data logger to greatly minimize the risk of irregular temperature affecting the quality of the products. The air conditioning system controls the temperature and humidity within the workplace to create a comfortable working environment. Proper ventilation is needed to get rid of fumes and gas byproducts created by various manufacturing processes and bring in clean air. These protects the health of the workers and helps them focus on their tasks. The data logger and temperature gauges serve as troubleshooting and early-warning devices. Temperature gauges can be used to track temperatures within a close space or to detect the heat being produced by equipment.

The gauges are connected to a data logger that collects the data gathered by temperature gauges which can be used by the monitoring personnel for future workplace safety and performance review.
